Hello hello! Like I mentioned a couple of weeks ago in my shopping ban post, I am trying my best to make better choices when I buy Christmas presents this year. So in case you're on the same boat or just want some ideas, here's a few things you can do for your friends and family. Also, Christmas is in less than a week and these are all super quick to make.
1. BAKED GOODS I think are always I win. Everyone loves cookies, brownies, cupcakes, etc. so gifting someone their favourite dessert definitely puts you at the top of the favourite people list. I would put anyone on top of my list.
To make it extra special put a red bow around it and a name tag.
2. If you liked the first idea but you know a lot of people with a sweet tooth and you only have one oven, "MIX IN A JAR" could be a winner.
Basically take your favourite recipe and combine all the dry ingredients in a jar, write a little label with the extra wet ingredients they need to add to the mix and baking instructions and you're done!
3. Home made SUGAR LIP SCRUB. Not only they taste great and make your lips super soft but they're also super quick to make and also it's winter! They're the perfect little gift.
You can do them any flavour and colour and they all follow a super simple recipe.
• 200 gr of granulated sugar
• 1 or 2 tablespoons of melted coconut oil (it works with any other oil too but the taste won't be as sweet)
• 10 to 15 drops of the essential oil or flavouring of your choice
• Food colouring of your choice (optional)
Then is just as simple as mixing it all together and putting it in little jars.
4. MIXED TREATS BAG. This is the one I've done for my friends this year. We're all quite similar when it comes to the things we like so I've decided to put together some little bags with chocolates and candy canes, a Christmas bauble that reminded me of them, a cute little animal shaped pouch of bubble bath (I was so excited when I found those!) and a Christmas card.
Those are the things I chose but you can always do different ones for everyone.
These are the 4 things I'll be trying this year. If you have any others ideas, let me know!
