Things I am doing to be more sustainable

16/6/20

Over a year ago I decided to stop buying pretty much everything (that wasn't essential). I wrote a blog post about the self imposed shopping ban and to be honest I keep finding it easier and easier the longer I do it.

But today I am not talking about the ban, instead I thought I would talk about some things that help me WITH the ban but also help the environment.

My top 5 best Summer books to read

11/6/20

There is something about summer that makes everyone one to read. The sun and the nice weather call for a light read sitting outside with a cold drink.

Bookworms get excited because new titles come out during the season, most of us have our favourite "summer" author and even casual readers know it is time to relax with a book. So, I had a look through my shelves and Goodreads Read list (which is in desperate need of updating) and I have put together a list of my favourite books that I think would make a perfect summer read.

7 goals for 27

26/5/20

I am turning 27. My birthday is around the corner and honestly, I have never been one to make new goals for the year ahead but since we are trapped at home I have been thinking about what I want from my life and some changes I would like to make to improve myself.

"Must watch" during lockdown

22/5/20

Personally I am someone who doesn't watch a lot of TV, or any at all, and when I'm watching a show on a streaming service I usually do one show a time kind of thing.

But something I realised during this past month and a bit is how much content there is out there. I knew that we have hundreds of shows to choose from but I never felt so overwhelmed by that before.
So this is my attempt to help indecisive people when it comes to pick a show to watch!

5 things I don't buy anymore

18/5/20

Today I wanted to talk about money. I know this topic is a bit taboo for some people but I think it's very important to have that chat every now and then just to see where you're at with your finances.

A few months ago I wrote a post about the shopping ban I was imposing on myself and how I was doing at the time. I mostly talked about how I was trying to save every way I could, but for the past year I have also tried to stop myself from buying things I don't really need to help me put that extra cash on my savings account.

Hair products I've been loving | For curly hair

15/5/20

I have been struggling with my hair for years. It is very thin, frizzy and to be honest, I don't know if I can say I have curly hair anymore.
But for the past three months or so I have been trying my best to give my hair a rest and that started by being more aware of what I put on it. These products are my perfect combo right now!

How to: Fast Pass at Disneyland Paris

11/5/20

Howdy! Today I wish I was writing from where this picture was taken but nope. Still, I thought it was a very appropriate way to say hi to you all.

After seeing a few people on Instagram saying they didn't understand how the Fast Pass system works at Disneyland Paris, I thought I could try my best to explain it here. And it is not complicated at all one you start using it.
